Enjoy your stay here!

Here is some *bizarre music* courtesy of our friends over at YT - laudable efforts, guys...! But still...

Oh Well, They Tried...

The following truly is the epitomy of what this laudable blog means to underline, bring to the fore, shed the spotlight firmly upon for all to see and learn of a little something called
the spirit of endeavour...!

The LikeTelevision™ History channel proudly presents:
This Day in History - July 19 (real date - 20th)!

On July 20, 1944 - a plot to assassinate Hitler fails. A clique of German officers plotted to kill Adolf Hitler and stage a daring coup. Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg left a briefcase concealing a time bomb at Hitler's feet during a military conference. The bomb killed 4 people, but an oak table shielded Hitler. In Berlin, conspirators led by Colonel Von Keirnheim took over army headquarters, believing Hitler was dead. By midnight, they and von Stauffenberg had been shot. An enraged Hitler paralyzed in the right arm, swore vengeance. More than 5,000 people were summarily sentenced and strangled on meat hooks. The plotters believed Hitler would not surrender in the face of obvious defeat and would bring unparallelled destruction upon Germany. They were right.

And so they gave it their best shot, what can I say?

It still does not explain howcome there was a lookalike dead Hitler outside of the bunker after D-Day - but that strange occurrence came to a few elite souls' attention only after the "unparalleled destruction" hit Germany and most especially Berlin, of course.

Easter Is Here

How better to celebrate it than with a song about JESUS THE CHRIST, OUR LORD OF LORDS, KING OF KINGS, SAVIOUR AND REDEEMER, THE WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE AND SON OF GOD ALMIGHTY HIMSELF... hmm?

We had many possible choices here, of course - but since this is the blog that it is (note the "... but still..." in the URL) we could not go with legitimate Christian music that sings praise to THE MESSIAH - no, not here!

Elsewhere on the TLB Prime Network - but not on this one!

Rather, we had to select something that is -still- "okay" (and, thus, laudable) but that raises some doubts, somehow, on the true intentions of the authors of this great music here, a classic though it may be... So here we have, from 1973 the main theme from JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR...

Andrew Llyod Webber and Carl Anderson may yet burn in hell for this one - or they have nothing to fear at all! It can really go either way; and we're not even mentioning all those showgirls either...!

It is really not up to any one of us to pass judgment on that anyways - JESUS, the Real JESUS (not Ted Neeley) shall do just that. And, actually, there are far greater sins to be judged and condemned than these, ultimately, facetious transgressions...
AND JESUS WILL GET TO THOSE FIRST; you can Believe that!

On that note...
Remember that He Died For you.

Happy Easter, brethren!
